Supporting a child, youth, or young adult who is struggling can be difficult, and it can help to connect with others navigating similar experiences.
This free drop-in virtual peer support group is designed to support parents and caregivers navigating their child’s or youth’s (ages 0-18) neurodevelopmental challenges or neurodiver
gence. It offers a safe, supportive space where families can connect, exchange information and resources, share experiences, discuss successes and challenges, and find support with a community that understands.
Held on the last Thursday of each month from 6:30pm to 8:00pm on Zoom, this support group is facilitated by two Family Peer Supporters from Pleo who are parents with lived experience supporting their own children and youth navigating neurodevelopmental challenges and neurodivergence.
No registration is needed and you can drop in whenever you need support. Whether it’s your first time or you’ve joined us before, you are always welcome. The next meeting is Thursday, July 30 at 6:30pm.
This support group is offered in collaboration with CHEO Neurodevelopmental Health (NDH) and is held in English.
